Applies to: Sublyse mobile application, website, and related services
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Sublyse. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sublyse mobile application, website, and related services, collectively referred to as the "Service." The Service is operated as an independent project. For purposes of these Terms, "Sublyse," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the person or team operating the Service.
If you have any questions about these Terms, you can contact us at sublyse@proton.me.
You may use the Service only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is not intended for children under 13 years old, or the equivalent minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
If you use the Service on behalf of another person, organization, or entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Sublyse stores app data locally on your device and may synchronize supported data through Apple's CloudKit using your Apple ID. Data synchronized through CloudKit is hosted by Apple and is not stored on Sublyse-operated servers.
Deleting the app removes locally stored data from your device. If you choose to delete your account using the in-app account deletion feature, your account and associated application data are permanently deleted. If iCloud synchronization is enabled, the deletion is synchronized across your devices through Apple's CloudKit.
Sublyse may offer subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other paid features. Purchases made through Apple App Store are processed by the applicable app store provider, not directly by Sublyse.
By purchasing a subscription, in-app purchase, or paid feature, you agree to the pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms presented at the time of purchase and the applicable app store terms.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period in accordance with the rules of the applicable app store. You are responsible for managing and canceling subscriptions through your Apple App Store account settings.
Except where required by law or by the applicable app store policy, payments are non-refundable. Any refund requests for purchases made through Apple App Store should be directed to the applicable app store provider.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, including features, functionality, pricing, availability, or support for particular devices or operating systems.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, or configuration.
The Service may allow you to create, store, input, or manage content, preferences, settings, notes, data, or other materials within the app. Some supported data may be synchronized through Apple's CloudKit ("User Content"). You retain any rights you have in your User Content.
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that it complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other comments, you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you, including to improve, develop, and promote the Service.
The Service, including its software, design, interface, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other content, is owned by Sublyse or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
No rights are granted to you except as expressly stated in these Terms.
The Service may depend on or include third-party services, platforms, SDKs, payment processors, and other service providers. Examples include the Apple App Store, Apple's CloudKit, and Firebase Crashlytics.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, their availability, or their practices.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use the Service.
Please review the Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
We may provide updates, patches, bug fixes, improvements, or new versions of the Service. Some updates may be required for the Service to function properly. If you do not install updates, some features may not work correctly or may become unavailable.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Deleting the app removes locally stored data from your device. If you choose to delete your account using the in-app account deletion feature, your account and associated application data are permanently deleted. If iCloud synchronization is enabled, the deletion is synchronized across your devices through Apple's CloudKit.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, used the Service unlawfully, created risk for us or others, or if we discontinue the Service.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, reliability, accuracy, and security.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, be error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sublyse and its operators, contributors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sublyse and its operators, contributors, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement.

Before bringing a formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at sublyse@proton.me so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Service, by email, or by other appropriate means.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
